Access Funding Scheme
CVF members can apply for financial support to help make meetings and events more accessible. This funding is available to support with attendance at Members meetings, subnetwork meetings, and other CVF events. There are 2 types of funds available:
-
A financial contribution towards your time spent attending events. It is aimed primarily at freelancers and is subject to tax.
-
Cover of access costs, such as travel to events, childcare, or language support (non-taxable).
Applications for this support will not require any proof or justification that you need these costs covered — we are not going to assess or judge them in any way. In the application form, we will ask for some information on type of costs requested and reasons for applying — this data will only be used to inform future applications with our funders, and will be anonymised for these purposes.
How it works:
-
To apply for support, please fill out the short form below.
-
We will aim to process your application within 3-5 days.
Please note, on some occasions we won’t be able to cover the full amount requested, but we will always confirm what we can do in each case. -
You will be issued an Access Costs Agreement with a breakdown of costs we can cover.
It will come in a separate email titled 'A new proposal from Bradford Cultural Voice Forum' with a link to an online document to sign. -
Keep your receipts!
Within two weeks after the event, invoice us attaching all the receipts for access costs. Please send your invoice to cvf.access@outlook.com. -
Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice.
